Mr. Lin Shuqing, president of China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute, researcher, director general of China Special Equipment Inspection Association, deputy director of China Boiler and Pressure Vessel NDT Personnel Qualification Examination Committee, director of the NDT Sub-committee of Beijing Mechanical Engineering Society, deputy director of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, director of the Technical Committee for Inspection Agencies, deputy chief of the Mechanical and Electrical Expert group for National Work Safety Production Expert Team. He is adjunct professor for Zhejiang University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China University of Petroleum, and Wuhan Institute of Technology.
Mr. Lin obtained BS degree from Lanzhou University in July 1982. From Apr. 1988 to Jul. 1989, he was a visiting scholar in TÜV Hannover of Germany, where he obtained level III NDT certificate (RT, MT, PT). He also obtained the course-completion certificate from the Federal Economics Ministry. In 2004, he obtained master’s degree in business administration from the International Open University of Asia in Macao.
Mr. Lin has chaired and participated in over 20 key scientific and technological projects of national level or provincial level, involved in the development of six special equipment regulations and standards, published four major books (and translations), obtained one patent for invention. He has been awarded two second class prize of scientific and technological progress award of ministerial level, four first class prize, three second class prize, and one third class prize of provincial level. He has been awarded the honor of Outstanding Party Member and Advanced Worker by the Ministry of Labor, and Outstanding Young People by China’s Central State Organ.
